Beach Tennis - The Xcitement continues to grow!

The Sport of Beach Tennis is radical! While a relatively new Sport, the growth seen in 2007 has found participation not only on the Professional Beach Tennis Tour expanding, but now quickly it is becoming a favored recreational activity among consumers who are looking for an alternative Xciting way to enjoy a fun workout! Recently the first ever-permanent court was installed in Florida. To celebrate this new addition at the Countryside Tennis & Golf Club, they held a festive Grand Opening - Beach Tennis Style!
Well over a hundred people attended - many of them were not tennis players, but simply intrigued by the Sport and wanted to see in person, the Xcitement of the Sport!
They were not disappointed! With Rock & Roll music blasting over the PA System, a BBQ to feast on, and of courseSplenty of cold refreshments, the day was spent enjoying watching a few matches by the Prošs as well as trying for themselves, the Sport. What was the most interesting aspect of this is of the 100+ in attendance over 75-people actually took their shoes off, and "hit" the sand-court to give the Sport a try! Everyone felt equally as "bad" trying to learn the way to play, and the laughter of enjoyment was as loud as the music!
Now with the court being permanent at the Club, they are starting to give lessons - on this day alone, they already signed-up 50-people for lesions and at $50.00 for a 1-hour lesson! The Sport is healthy in its growth, and PACIFIC has been there from the beginning!
